Combining Delivery and Pickup Fees into One Field

Rentopian allows you to merge both delivery and pickup charges into a single fee line item for simpler quoting and invoicing. Follow the steps below to configure this feature and streamline your workflow.

1. Adjust Your Delivery/Pickup Settings

  1. Go to Settings: Navigate to Settings > Delivery Fees / Options.

  2. Enable Single Fee: Under the Additional Charges tab, select Charge Only for Delivery to consolidate both fees.

  3. Update Fee Calculations: If you typically charge for both delivery and pickup, you may need to double (or otherwise adjust) your per-mile or flat-rate fee to account for both services.

2. Rename the Fee (Optional)

If you want to label the single fee differently (e.g., “Delivery & Pickup Fee”), visit Settings > Documents -> PDF Templates and edit the relevant document template to set the desired label.
