How to Generate and Read the Utilization Report

Learn how to generate and read the Utilization Report in Rentopian, including order dates, potential time, utilization rate, and export options.

The Utilization Report helps you track how often your inventory is rented. To find the Utilization Report, first go to Reports in your main navigation and then select Utilization. Follow the steps below to generate and understand the report.

1. Select a Date Range

Start by choosing a date range. For example, January 1st to January 5th.

2. Choose Order Dates or Event Dates

  • Order dates: The start and end dates of the order.

  • Event date: The event date from your logistics timeline.

3. Generate the Report

Click Generate Report to see a list of products, their quantity, rental time, and income.

4. Understanding the Report

  • Inventory Quantity: The total number of units available.

  • Rental Time: How long the product was rented.

  • Potential Time: The maximum rental time based on the date range and inventory.

  • Utilization: The percentage of time the product was rented versus its potential.

  • Income: The revenue from each product.

5. Adjusting the Report

  • Rearrange columns by dragging them.

  • Change the number of records displayed per page (default is 25, maximum is 100).

6. Exporting the Report

You can export the report in PDF, Excel, CSV, or JSON formats. You can also email the report.
