Sometimes you may not have confirmed delivery or pickup times yet. For example, you may be waiting on a venue, coordinating with a client, or planning far in advance.
You can mark a Delivery or Pickup as TBD so the order can move forward while you wait for final details. This also helps your team see which orders still need scheduling.
How TBD Works
You can select TBD in the Logistics section when creating or editing an order.
The system will automatically set a Confirm By Date.
For Delivery, this uses the transaction start date by default.
For Pickup, this uses the transaction end date by default.
You can edit the Confirm By Date if needed.
What Happens When TBD Is Selected
The delivery or pickup time will display as TBD anywhere times are normally shown.
On the Dispatch screen, the order appears based on the Confirm By Date.
Dispatchers can still plan ahead and see which orders need final scheduling.
Confirming the Delivery or Pickup
Once details are finalized:
Edit the order.
Change the selection from TBD to Window or Exact Time.
Enter the confirmed details and update the order.
The Confirm By Date will be removed, and the confirmed time will appear throughout the platform.
Please note: If you use time-based delivery fees, delivery charges may adjust once final times are entered.
