Group income by state, city, or postal code, with filters and built-in exclusions.

Written by Hrant Minasyan

The Income By Location report groups your revenue geographically by state, city, or postal code — useful for understanding which areas drive the most business.

Where to Find It

Reports → Financial Reports → Income By Location

What This Report Shows

  • The location grouping (state, city, or postal code)

  • Total income, amount paid, and cancelled total

  • Fee totals, delivery and pickup costs, and tax breakdowns

Filters You Can Apply

  • Group by — postal code, city, or state

  • Date type — match the date range against the order dates or event date

  • Date range — the period you want to review. A single report can cover up to about 13 months at a time; to review a longer span, run consecutive ranges and combine the exported files in Excel.

  • Location — if your company has more than one location, you can limit results to specific locations. (Single-location accounts won't see this filter.)

⚠️ What This Report Already Filters Out

Note what this report leaves out automatically:

  • Only confirmed orders are included. Quotes are excluded.

  • Order templates and deleted orders are excluded.

Exporting

You can export the report to Excel, CSV, or PDF. Larger reports are generated in the background — you'll be notified when the file is ready to download.
