Email exclusion lists let you prevent specific clients from receiving emails sent through the Rentopian Scheduler.
First, create an exclusion list with the email addresses you want to exclude. Then, add that list to one or more Scheduler emails.
Create an Email Exclusion List
Go to Settings in the main navigation menu.
Click Emails and Templates.
Click the Email Exclusions tab.
Click the blue Add Exclusion List button.
Add Clients to the Exclusion List
Enter a Title for your exclusion list. Use a name that will make it easy to identify when adding the list to a Scheduler email.
Next, use the Emails field to add the email addresses you want to exclude.
As you start typing an email address, Rentopian will suggest matching emails from existing clients. Click the client you want to add to the list.
You can add as many email addresses as needed.
When the list is complete, click the green Confirm button.
Manage Existing Exclusion Lists
Your existing exclusion lists can be managed from the Email Exclusions tab.
Edit: Click the pencil icon under Actions to change the list or add and remove email addresses.
Delete: Click the red trash can icon under Actions to delete the list.
Add an Exclusion List to a Scheduler Email
After creating your exclusion list, connect it to the Scheduler emails you do not want those clients to receive.
Go to Scheduler in the main navigation menu.
Click List.
Create a new scheduled email or find an existing Scheduler email.
To update an existing Scheduler email, click the pencil icon under Actions.
Scroll to the Email Exclusions section.
Select the exclusion list or lists you want to use.
Click the green Save Scheduler button.
Clients included on the selected exclusion lists will no longer receive emails from that Scheduler.
Use Exclusion Lists with Multiple Scheduler Emails
Email exclusion lists can be reused.
One Scheduler email can use multiple exclusion lists.
One exclusion list can be used with multiple Scheduler emails.
This lets you create groups that match how your business manages client communications.
Good to know: Once an exclusion list is connected to a Scheduler email, you do not need to update the Scheduler every time you change the list. If you add another email address to the exclusion list, that email will also be excluded from any Scheduler emails using that list.
