Your main printing settings control how Rentopian handles printing from individual transactions and the Bulk Print report.
To find these settings, go to Settings > Order Settings > Printing.
Choose When to Show Print Options
When printing from an individual transaction, Rentopian can either show the Print Options pop-up or use your saved default settings.
Always Ask for Print Options: The Print Options pop-up will appear each time you click Print.
Use Default Print Options: Rentopian will use your saved defaults without showing the Print Options pop-up.
Set Your Default Transaction Print Options
The Default Print Options on Transaction Show Page control the printing section of the Order View screen.
This includes printing the Order, Packing List, and Picking Slip.
Include Transaction Files
Turn on Include Transaction Files when you want related files included when printing.
Transaction files can include:
Files added to the transaction's Files section
Attachments connected to products on the transaction
Venue files
Print Products Ungrouped
The Print Products Ungrouped option applies specifically to the Packing List and Picking Slip.
When enabled, products are pulled out of their sets and groups. Instead of showing those groupings, the document shows the individual product components and their total quantities.
Good to know: Your Packing List and Picking Slip have additional settings that may affect how products appear when printing ungrouped.
Payment Print Options
The payment print options control how payment processing fees appear on documents.
These settings apply when you use a payment gateway and have card processing or ACH fees set up.
Print Total with Card Fee: Includes the card fee in the total shown on documents that display pricing.
Print Amount Paid with Card Fee: Includes the card fee in the amount paid shown on your documents.
These settings apply across your document templates where the related totals or payment amounts are displayed.
Save Your Printing Settings
After making changes, click the green Update Settings button.
Important: Changes are not applied until you click Update Settings. If you leave the page without saving, your printing settings will not be updated.
