You can add a client either through a bulk upload, adding while putting in an order, or through your client list.
Adding Through Your Client List
To add a client to your list, you'll click on Clients in your navigation menu and then List.
On your client list page, you'll click on the green Add Client button in the upper left.
On the next screen, you'll be able to add the details about this client. You'll be required to select a customer type and status. Then you can enter their contact information and any special details and images. Once you've entered your client's information, you'll click the green Save Client button at the bottom of the screen.
Once you click Save Client it will take you to that's client's profile page. On the client profile page, you can add additional contact information, attach special files (like tax exempt forms), create tasks, make notes, add store credit and other customer relationship management tasks. Once you start creating orders for this client, you'll also be able to see any orders and email logs of any emails sent to the client in the Rentopian platform.
Adding Through and Order
To add a customer on the fly during when creating an order, you'll scroll to the Client square in the order creation screen. You click the blue + New Client option.
When you click on the blue + New Client option, a window will popup where you can enter basic information about your client like their name, company, type, and phone number. If your rentals require customers to provide their driver's license , you'll be able to enter that here as well.
Once you have enter your customer's information, you'll click the green Save button and your client will be created. If the box next to Fill in Client Address is ticked, a popup window to add the customer's address will popup next automatically.
You'll have the option to mark this address as a billing only address or a billing and delivery address. Once you have entered the client's address, you'll click the green Save button. If you don't have your customer's address yet, you can click Cancel and mark check the TBD option next to their address on the order screen.
