  1. Locating the Web Forms Section:

    • On the left side of the Rentopian interface, look for the Web Forms section.

  2. Understanding the Web Forms Sections:

    • Under Web Forms, there are three options:

      • Forms: Where previously created Web Forms are stored.

      • Templates: The section dedicated to creating and managing templates for your Web Forms.

      • Submissions: Where you can view submitted Web Forms.

  3. Creating a Template:

    • Click on "Templates".

    • Choose "Add a template".

    • Name your template. This could be something like "header template" or "branding template".

    • In the editor, you can add textual information or branding assets.

      • For adding an image, insert the image link and save. The image will appear in the editor.

      • Position the image as desired (e.g., center it).

      • Type in any desired text, such as a slogan or descriptor. For instance, "Rentopian is an all-in-one rental software".

      • Format the text to your preference using options like bold, align, or making it a heading.

    • Save the template.

  4. Attaching a Template to Web Form:

    • Navigate to "Forms".

    • Either edit an existing Web Form or create a new one.

    • Within the Web Form editor, you'll have options to select a "header template" or a "footer template".

    • Choose the template you created from the drop-down list. For our example, you'd select "header branding template".

    • This means the chosen template will appear above (or below, for footer templates) the Web Form content.

    • Save your Web Form.

  5. Testing the Template with a Web Form:

    • For testing, navigate to the "quotes" section.

    • Open an existing quote.

    • Opt to "send a Web Form" to a client.

    • Choose the Web Form you edited or created earlier.

    • After sending, wait for the Web Form to appear in your inbox or the recipient's inbox.

    • When opened, the Web Form should showcase the template at the beginning, followed by the actual Web Form content.

  6. Wrap Up:

    • Templates are beneficial for adding consistent branding or messaging to multiple Web Forms. You can have templates at the beginning (header) or end (footer) of a Web Forms.
