Go to the Settings section from the main menu and click on the Menu Management cell block.
In this section, you can manage and customize the existing menu and create custom menu items as well as change the menu location.
Under Main Menu Layout section, you can switch between Vertical and Horizontal options to display the menu on the left site or on the top side throughout the whole software.
Under the Create a custom menu item you can add cutom links or menu items for convenience purposes. Custom link could be used to add a new menu item to take you to the new quote page, or a link to your website. To add a custom link fill out the following fields:
Item title – Write the name of your custom menu item.
Url – Write the URL of the page of the custom menu item.
Click on the “Add Item” button.
NOTE: You can use this option if, you want to add a new item to the menu. For example, if you want to have a New Order as a separate menu item, you follow the steps mentioned above and New Order will appear as a new item on the menu so that you can use it for a quick reference.
Customize existing menu items
Here you are allowed to customize the menu in several ways. Arrange the sequence of the items on the menu to be more convenient for you by dragging and dropping them.
You can also indent the item you want on the menu and put it under the other menu item so when you click on that item on the main menu the item you indented will be listed as a submenu item. Note that multiple nesting of menu items is not supported.
Check the “Always visible” checkbox to always see items on the main menu. If the box is not checked you will have to click on the “SHOW MORE” or “SHOW LESS” button to see or hide the rest of the items.
NOTE: You cannot drag and drop the item that is not checked as “Always visible” in the section where always visible menu items are shown since the hidden item cannot be between visible items.
You can also label any item on the menu and select the color for the label. This can mostly be used to visually separate the items or color-code them.
