Shortcut hotkeys are a great way to make your workflow more efficient and save time by creating keyboard combinations for frequent tasks. The hotkeys are a combination of the letter “r” and another letter of your choice. For example, to create a new transaction, you would go to the Orders or Quotes sections and click on “Create transaction”. With shortcut hotkeys, you can assign the letter “t” to create a new transaction. Each time you click the “r” then “t” keys subsequently, you will immediately be redirected to the page where you can create a new transaction.

Please note that the shortcut hotkeys will be inactive if your caret focus is on a text field. Imagine this scenario: you are typing a client’s address that includes the text, “Bart street”. If the hotkey combinations were not disabled while you were typing the text, the system would redirect you to the “Create transaction” section as soon as the r + t combination of the word “Bart” was typed.

Go to the Settings section from the main menu and click on the System hotkeys cell block.

Here you can create a hotkey combination for some of the frequent tasks that you can see on the page. Click on the “Click to assign shortcut” box and press any button to create a hotkey for a quick reference of the action or page you want. Refresh the page. After that, the new hotkey will be active.
