Renting Out an Order Through Order Workflow
When you’re ready to deliver your rental order, whether as a will call or as a full delivery, you’ll need to mark the order as rented out. This show that the items in the order have been received by the client. If you rent out an order by mistake, you will be able to revert the order to created status; however, you can still edit the order by adding or removing items in the rented out status.
To rent out an order, first navigate to the order you’d like to rent out. You can use the global search in the top left of your dashboard, or you can click on “Orders” in your navigation bar, then click list. From your list, you’ll use the 3 icons at the end of the row to either view, edit, or 3 dots with other action options including remove. Click on the blue icon with an eye symbol to view your order.
Once you are in the view screen of your order, you’ll have your workflow options in the left hand side. In the workflow options, you’ll click on the green “Rent Out” button.
Once you click the button, a popup will appear to ask if you are sure you want to rent out the order. When you’re ready to proceed, you’ll click the red “Rent out” button on the popup.
Once you click the red “Rent out” button, your order will be converted to rented out status. You’ll have a green confirmation at the top of on your order, the status under the transaction details will list rented out as well as your workflow menu on the left side.
Renting Out Multiple Orders
You can rent out multiple orders at the same time through your transactions list. First you'll click on Transactions in your main navigation. From your transactions list, you'll see the option to adjust the filters so you can view only specific transactions.
Once you expand the filters, you will see options for type of transaction, order status, workflow status, and more. With the filters, you can choose to filter out any transaction that you do not want to rent out. You can choose only orders in the created phase that have delivery for example.
Once you have filtered to the list of transactions you need to see, you can select all or specific transactions using the boxes on the left side of the list.
Once you have selected your transactions, you'll be brought to the top of the transactions list screen showing a list of the transactions you have selected. From here, you'll have the Actions button.
When you click on the Actions button, you'll see action options that you can choose to apply to all the orders in this list. To rent out all these orders, you'll click the Rent Out option.
After you click the Rent Out option from the drop down list of options, a pop up window will appear requiring you to Confirm you'd like to rent out these orders.
Once you click the green Confirm button, your orders will be transitioned to the rented out status.
