The Future Utilization report shows which products are committed to go out on upcoming orders, so you can see what's leaving the warehouse and when.
Where to Find It
Reports → Product & Inventory Reports → Future Utilization
What This Report Shows
Order number, type, and status
Order start date
Product name and variant, with category
Quantity committed
Location and transportation (delivery/pickup) type
Filters You Can Apply
Date type — match the date range against the event date or the order start date
Date range — the period you want to review. A single report can cover up to about 13 months at a time; to review a longer span, run consecutive ranges and combine the exported files in Excel.
Order type, order status, and transportation type
Category
Location — if your company has more than one location, you can limit results to specific locations. (Single-location accounts won't see this filter.)
⚠️ What This Report Already Filters Out
Keep these built-in behaviors in mind:
Cancelled and deleted orders are excluded.
Quotes and tentative holds are included. The numbers reflect potential demand as well as confirmed orders, so a product can show as "going out" before the order is fully confirmed.
Exporting
You can export the report to Excel, CSV, or PDF. Larger reports are generated in the background — you'll be notified when the file is ready to download.
