Written by Hrant Minasyan

The Utilization report measures how hard your rental inventory is working over a period, helping you understand the return on investment for your products.

Where to Find It

Reports → Product & Inventory Reports → Utilization

What This Report Shows

  • Product name and variant, with category

  • Order number

  • Rental start and end dates

  • Quantity

Filters You Can Apply

  • Date type — match the date range against the event date or the order start date

  • Date range — the period you want to review. A single report can cover up to about 13 months at a time; to review a longer span, run consecutive ranges and combine the exported files in Excel.

  • Category and Client

  • Location — if your company has more than one location, you can limit results to specific locations. (Single-location accounts won't see this filter.)

⚠️ What This Report Already Filters Out

Before reading the results, note what this report leaves out automatically:

  • Only confirmed orders are included. Quotes are excluded.

  • Only orders that have gone out or come back are counted — those currently rented out or already returned.

  • Only rental items count. Items that were sold rather than rented are excluded.

Exporting

You can export the report to Excel, CSV, or PDF. Larger reports are generated in the background — you'll be notified when the file is ready to download.
