A month-by-month summary of rental product utilization across recent years, with the fixed time window and exclusions explained.

Written by Hrant Minasyan

The Rental Utilization Monthly Summary report summarizes how much your rental products were used, month by month, across recent years — useful for spotting seasonal patterns.

Where to Find It

Reports → Product & Inventory Reports → Rental Utilization Monthly Summary

What This Report Shows

  • Month and year

  • Quantity ordered versus quantity available

  • Product length, where used for linear-feet utilization

Filters You Can Apply

  • Order type and order status

  • Product

  • Location — if your company has more than one location, you can limit results to specific locations. (Single-location accounts won't see this filter.)

⚠️ What This Report Already Filters Out

This report behaves differently from most others:

  • It always covers a fixed window of the last 4 years. There is no date-range picker — you can't shorten or extend the period.

  • Deleted orders are excluded, and only real inventory items are counted.

Exporting

You can export the report to Excel, CSV, or PDF. Larger reports are generated in the background — you'll be notified when the file is ready to download.
