Not Used Products Report

Find products that were never rented or sold during a date range, with filters and exclusions explained.

Written by Hrant Minasyan

The Not Used Products report shows inventory that sat idle — products that were not on any order during your date range. It's the opposite of a usage report and helps you spot underperforming stock.

Where to Find It

Reports → Product & Inventory Reports → Not Used Products

What This Report Shows

  • Product name and variant

  • The inventory item and its quantity

Filters You Can Apply

  • Date type — match the date range against the event date, the order start date, or the order creation date

  • Date range — the period you want to check for inactivity. A single report can cover up to about 13 months at a time; to review a longer span, run consecutive ranges and combine the exported files in Excel.

  • Order type

  • Location — if your company has more than one location, you can limit results to specific locations. (Single-location accounts won't see this filter.)

⚠️ What This Report Already Filters Out

Note how this report decides what to show:

  • Only active inventory is considered. Inactive or archived items are not listed.

  • It shows only items that appeared on no order during your date range. If a product was used even once in the period, it won't appear here.

Exporting

You can export the report to Excel, CSV, or PDF. Larger reports are generated in the background — you'll be notified when the file is ready to download.
