Serials Tracking Report

See where your serialized items are on a given date, with filters and built-in exclusions explained.

Written by Hrant Minasyan

The Serials Tracking report shows where your serialized items are as of a chosen date — which units are out on orders and which are available.

Where to Find It

Reports → Product & Inventory Reports → Serials Tracking

What This Report Shows

  • Serial number, title, and SKU

  • Product name and variant, with location

  • Order number, client name, and client address

  • Order and event dates, and any project

Filters You Can Apply

  • Date — a single date (not a range). The report shows where each serialized item is as of this day.

  • Date type — base that day on the event date or the order start date

  • Order type and order status

  • Location — if your company has more than one location, you can limit results to specific locations. (Single-location accounts won't see this filter.)

⚠️ What This Report Already Filters Out

Keep these built-in behaviors in mind:

  • It is a single-day view, not a date range. Results reflect where items are on the one date you pick.

  • Only active serialized items are included, and deleted orders are excluded.

  • If you don't choose an order status, the report defaults to items that are created or rented out on that date.

Exporting

You can export the report to Excel, CSV, or PDF. Larger reports are generated in the background — you'll be notified when the file is ready to download.
