Upcoming Returns Report

See which rented-out products are due back in a future window, with filters and built-in exclusions.

Written by Hrant Minasyan

The Upcoming Returns report shows which products are due back within a future date window, so you can plan for incoming inventory and prepare for the next rental.

Where to Find It

Reports → Transaction Reports → Upcoming Returns

What This Report Shows

  • Order number and SKU

  • Product name, variant, and category

  • Quantity and value

  • Client name, order start/end dates, and event times

Filters You Can Apply

  • Date range — the future window you want to check for returns. A single report can cover up to about 13 months at a time; to review a longer span, run consecutive ranges and combine the exported files in Excel.

  • Group by — product or order

  • Category

  • Location — if your company has more than one location, you can limit results to specific locations. (Single-location accounts won't see this filter.)

⚠️ What This Report Already Filters Out

Note what this report shows and leaves out:

  • Only items currently rented out are included. The report is about what's still out and coming back, so quotes, not-yet-shipped orders, and already-returned items are excluded.

  • Only confirmed orders count, and order templates are excluded.

How to Read the Results

The date range is matched against each order's return (end) date, so you're choosing the window in which items are scheduled to come back.

Exporting

You can export the report to Excel, CSV, or PDF. Larger reports are generated in the background — you'll be notified when the file is ready to download.
