Go to the Inventory section from the main menu and click on the Add Item submenu.
Select the product you want to add to the list from the “Product variant” dropdown list. The "Product Variant" dropdown field only shows products that are not assigned to inventory. If all of your products are already assigned to inventory, the dropdown will be empty.
Once a product variant is selected from the "Product Variant" dropdown you will see the following fields:
SKU – It stands for “Stock keeping unit” and is a code that is used to differentiate products. It is assigned to a product to identify specific information about it. Click on the “Generate” button if you want our system to auto generate SKU number for a given product. Alternatevly, you can enter your designated SKU for the product.
Bin Number – This number helps you to find the location where the product is stored (e.g. number of a shelf, bin, or drawer where it is stored). It can optionally be printed on your picking slip for your warehouse personnel to know where to find it.
Barcode - Click on the “Generate” button if you want our system to auto generate a barcode for a given product. Alternatevly, you can use your own predefined barcode.
Quantity – Provide the quantity of the product.
Rental Price – Provide the rental price for the product.
On Sale Price – Provide the discounted rental price of the given product if applicable, otherwise leave empty.
Replacement Price – Provide the price you charge for the replacement of the product if it is unreparable, i.e. lost, broken, etc., upon return. If any of the products are marked Unrepairable from the order return page this replacement price will auto populate to be charged as a damage fee.
Purchase Price – The price you paid while purchasing the given product.
Labor Cost – Provide the labor cost if applicable. Note that labor cost will be added every time you add this product to the quote or order.
Product Level Multiplier – Choose the product level multiplier if applicable. Note: if you choose a product level multiplier it will automatically be applied to the product in every order.
Check the appropriate box if a product is Available, Taxable, or Discountable.
Notes – You can add any additional notes or details regarding this product.
Click on the “Save item” button.
