How to Update Products, Prices & Images on Your Website

Your website pulls from your Rentopian inventory through your API connection. Update a product in Rentopian and the change flows to your site.

• Edit one item: "Products" → "List" → pencil/view → edit.
• Update many at once: "Settings" → "Import Data" → "Product Update".
• Hide an item: open "Edit" and check "Do not show on website".

You do not edit products on the website directly. You manage everything (names, prices, photos, visibility) inside Rentopian, and your connected site reflects those records.

1. Go to "Products" → "List".
2. Find the item (for example, a flatware product) and open its view page.
3. Click the edit icon to open the "Details" tab.
4. Change the name, "Rental Price", or "Sale Price" as needed.
5. To add or replace images, drag and drop into the upload area. The first image becomes the default.
6. Click "Save".

Result: The updated product, price, and image flow to your website.

1. Go to "Settings" → "Import Data".
2. Select "Product Update" and click "Download Template".
3. In the file, edit "Quantity", "Rental Price", or "Sale Price". Keep the "ID" column intact.
4. Return to "Settings" → "Import Data", choose "Product Update", and click "Upload File".
5. Map the columns and click "Proceed".
6. Check "Data Import" → "Import History" for results.
​Result: Prices and quantities update in bulk and sync to your site.

1. For products missing photos, go to "Products" → "Product Images Wizard".
2. Drag and drop images, select the right one for each product, then click "Select & Next".

1. Open the product and click "Edit".
2. Check "Do not show on website".
3. Click "Save". The product page will then show it is no longer "Visible On Website".
